The pr & oacute; maximum month June 2015, Madrid host & aacute; World Conference AFROMADRID, project that is part of the International Decade of African Descent declared by the United Nations General Assembly (resolution A / 68 L / 34) which opened in January; and as Special Statement for People of African Descent XXII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government in declaring the Decade Iberoamerican African Descent (C á says, Spain 17/11/12).

AFROMADRID is a mandate of civil society gathered in the First World Summit Afrodescendant, La Ceiba (Honduras), and following spirit and format of the event AFROXXI High Level Salvador (Brazil) in the 2011: Year of African Descent (Resolution & oacute; n 64/169 from the ONU). And it relies on results and Agreements (Letters and Statements) other big events like IV International Meeting of African Descent (Caracas, Venezuela, d & iacute; as 19 to the 22 June 2011), World Summit of Young African Descent in San Jose (Costa Rica, 05 to the 07 October 2011), I Afropean Madrid Symposium (Spain, 9 and 10 February 2012), etc.

Under the theme & ldquo; EDUCATION & oacute; N VALUES FOR DEVELOPMENT, JUSTICE AND RECOGNITION OF THE PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT "parliamentarians from around the world will present initiatives to eradicate discrimination and xenophobia (PARLIAMENTARY FORUM), civil society experts and specialized work for two days in eight Workbenches the subject frodescendiente, the promotion of public policies to eradicate racism, xenophobia, hate crimes and concrete measures for the development and improvement of conditions of this group; and the last day proposals for Parliamentarians and Civil Society will be presented to the International Organizations, governments and representatives of the diplomatic corps in HIGH LEVEL EVENT. During these days there will be a Cultural Week of African Descent with cultural manifestations of this social group (book presentations, exhibitions, festivals, etc.).

This project led by the Association & oacute; n Afrohispanos, has as Executive Secretary to Dr. Guillermo Ponce, President of the International Committee is D. Doudou Diene, Rapporteur of the United Nations and First Director of the "Slave Route" of UNESCO; Vice President is Mrs.. Mireille Fanon-Mendes-France, Chairperson of the UN Working Afrodescendant (see EXPERTS.)

AFROMADRID has been declared of "Interest Policy for the Spanish International Cooperation for Development" by the Ministry of Foreign (27/03/14), the Committee on International Cooperation Senate has filed a "Motion to support AFROMADRID" (27/11/13), the 5 November has been submitted to the Commission AFROMADRID Ibero-American Affairs of the Senate and the House of Representatives have approved two LNPs support AFROMADRID 2015, (7/10/14 Committee on Foreign and 9/10/14 Equality Commission) which promotes and extends the previous (2010), urging the Government to work on the project.

They expressed their support for the project International Organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS), American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the Organisation & oacute; n of Ibero (OEI) and United Nations Agencies. UNESCO, UNESCO program "Slave Route" and the Priority Africa Department, etc.
